L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick Formula and Benefits

L’Absolu Rouge Cream Lipstick has an ultra-creamy texture which effortlessly glides over the lips – it also contains 30% moisturizing rose balm and hyaluronic acid to give lips comfort and hydration. The best part? Despite being such a smooth and creamy lipstick it sets to a smudge resistant lip color with no bleeding into the lip line. Our L’Absolu Rouge Matte Lipstick is the ultimate matte lipstick with pure pigments to deliver high pigment and long-lasting bold color that lasts. The formula has a powdery soft texture as its applied and leaves lips with a soft powdery matte finish for an ultra-classic matte look. Both lipstick formulas feature a petal shaped lipstick bullet which is carefully crafted to allow ease of application for intense bold color in one swipe. When it comes to shade range there is no shortage of options with both formulas available in classic red lipsticks and nude lipsticks to fun orange and pink lipsticks to dramatic plum and purple lipsticks.

Both formulas of L’Absolu Rouge (Cream and Matte) contain a collection of carefully selected ingredients including Proxylne & Vitamin E but beyond that they also contain Hyaluronic Acid and Grand Rose Extracts. As an ingredient Hyaluronic Acid is famed for its humectant properties -- just one molecule of hyaluronic acid is capable of holding up to 1,000 times its weight in water making it an excellent moisturizer and ingredient in skincare.¹ Grand Rose Extracts are a Lancôme specific innovation with White Rose Lancôme Extract, Rose Damascena Essential Oil and Rose Centifolia Extract. L’Absolu Rouge Matte Lipstick

L’Absolu Rouge Matte is still the same great formula you love – but there are a few differences between the two. The finish of L’Absolu Rouge is more of an ultra-matte with a classic powder matte finish and a powdery soft texture compared to the classic soft creamy matte. The new formula is enriched with the same Proxylane & Vitamin E but also has the addition of Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba Oil and the famous Lancôme Grand Rose extracts.

The new formula has an ultra-creamy and luminous finish that looks modern and creamy on the lips and provides up to 18 hours of luscious comfort. You can still find Proxylane and Vitamin E in the formula but an added addition of 30% Moisturizing Rose Balm, Hyaluronic Acid and Grand Rose Extracts provide just a few more benefits.
